Getting to Poverty Peak Cottage
Poverty Peak Cottage is located just one hours drive from Melbourne, close to Daylesford, Ballarat and Hepburn Springs.
From Melbourne, take the Western Hwy in the direction of Ballarat. Approximately 30km before Ballarat, turn off the Western Hwy at the Gordon exit. Once off the freeway, instead of turning left into Gordon, turn right, cross back over the freeway, taking the first left turn into Mooralbool West Road. Travel along Moorabool West Road for approximately 3km, making two sharp right turns before reaching Poverty Peak Court. Poverty Peak Cottage is at 290 Moorabool West Road on the corner of Poverty Peak Court. The front entrance is the first gate on Moorabool West Road after passing Poverty Peak Court.
